Tandi is a small village 10 km before Keylong in Himachal Pradesh. It is famous because of it petrol station.

Tandi is the only place on Manali-Leh highway where you can get fuel. After Tandi there is no petrol station till Karu in Leh which is 320 km. The tourist going on this highway need to carry extra fuel in can.

Near Tandi village there is a place called Sisu which is again a very important destination as the upcoming tunnel connecting Manali (via Solang Valley) to Lahaul valley will open in Sisu. It will be a great breakthrough for the locals and tourist as the valley will be connected throughout the year.

Tandi village is located at the confluence of Bhaga and Chandra rivers in the Pattan valley. It is a perfect spot to admire the picturesque surroundings of valley.

Activities to do: This small village not much to do. Walking by the river bank.

How to reach: There are two ways to reach Tandi. One is from Manali via Rohtang pass and other is from Leh Ladakh via Baralacha pass.In coming time there will be another route from kargil side. BRO is making another highway which will connect Darcha to kargil. From Darcha Tandi can be reached.

Weather: In summers days are hot and warm but nights are cold. In winters the place is extremely cold due to snowfall.

Best time to visit: Tandi is open in month of June and close down in last week of October for tourist.

ATM: There is no ATM facility in Jispa, the nearest ATM is in the Keylong which is almost 13km away.

Net connectivity: There is limited signal connectivity in Tandi. BSNL, Airtel post-paid phone works here.
